Gram flour barfi: Adulterated sweets also start being sold in the market on Holi. If you want to avoid eating market-made sweets, then you can easily make gram flour barfi at home and eat it. Gram flour barfi will be very grainy and melts in the mouth. You can prepare this barfi easily. Children and guests coming home will not even know that you have prepared this barfi at home with your own hands. Quickly note down this recipe of gram flour barfi.
Gram flour barfi recipe
First step- For this, take 500 grams of gram flour and add 2 tablespoons of desi ghee to it and mix it well. Rub it with your hands and tie it like a laddu. If the gram flour is binding then it is fine. Now slowly add some water to it and prepare a hard dough.

Second step- Now break small balls of gram flour. Now make a fist out of it i.e. prepare the dough in a fist like shape. Now add desi ghee in the pan, put all the fistfuls of dough in it and bake till it cracks. Now bake all the gram flour balls like this and break them when they cool down.

Third step- Now prepare them like churma and filter it through a thick strainer. You can also grind it by putting it in a mixer and filter it through a sieve and prepare it like coarse sawdust. Now add ghee in the pan and fry it again till it turns golden brown. When the gram flour is roasted, add 250 grams of mawa to it and stir until mixed.

Fourth Step- Now prepare 1 string syrup by adding 200 grams of water to 500 grams of sugar. Now add some orange color to the syrup. Mix the syrup in the roasted gram flour mix. Now add some nutmeg, mace and green cardamom powder into it. Mix all the ingredients and grease a tray and pour the batter into it.

Fifth Step- Now leave the barfi to set. Garnish by adding silver plate, fine pistachios and cashew nuts on top. Prepare the barfi by cutting it into your favorite shape. This barfi is so tasty and granular that it melts in the mouth.
