War intensifies between Pakistan and Afghanistan, more than 325 people died

Islamabad/Kabul. The situation has completely changed after the recent clashes between Pakistan and Afghanistan. A war-like situation has arisen between the two countries. War planes are roaring in the sky. The area is shaken by bomb blasts.

At least 325 people have been killed in this fighting so far. Islamabad has claimed that 270 Afghan Taliban and terrorists were killed in this battle. Kabul claims that it has killed 55 more Pakistani soldiers.

Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Mohammad Asif said that the dam of patience of Islamabad has broken. He has declared open war with Afghanistan.

This current situation has been mentioned in the latest reports of Pakistan’s Dunya News and The Afghanistan Times. According to reports, Pakistan Army has carried out air strikes on many parts of Afghanistan including Kabul, Kandahar and Paktia.

Afghan Taliban forces claim to have retaliated by attacking Pakistani army positions along the Durand Line and killed 55 Pakistani soldiers in cross-border clashes. The United Nations has expressed concern over the current conflict.

A statement from the Defense Ministry of the Taliban government in Afghanistan said that the conflict began at 8 pm on February 26. Afghan troops retaliated by targeting Pakistani posts in the eastern and south-eastern sectors of the Durand Line.

The operation was stopped at midnight on the orders of the Taliban army chief. The statement claimed that 55 Pakistani soldiers were killed. Two bases and 19 military posts were destroyed. A Pakistani tank was destroyed. Eight Taliban fighters were also killed in this fighting.

US President Donald Trump has commented on this conflict that he is with Pakistan. Secretary-General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres expressed deep concern over the increasing tension between Afghanistan and Pakistan and its impact on the common people.

He has appealed to Afghanistan and Pakistan to immediately stop violence. Meanwhile, the Taliban says that 19 civilians were killed and 26 were injured in Pakistan’s air strikes in Khost and Paktika on Friday.

President of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Mirjana Spoljaric, has also appealed to both countries to exercise restraint. In view of this fighting, Britain advised its citizens not to travel to some parts of Pakistan.

The statement said that conflict has intensified along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, Balochistan and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Therefore do not travel around these areas. Britons living in Pakistan have been advised to stay indoors.

Meanwhile, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the public relations wing of Pakistan Army, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary has named this campaign Ghazab-lil-Haq.

He said the Afghan Taliban government will have to decide whether it is with Pakistan or groups like Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), Daesh and Al-Qaeda.

He stressed that Pakistan Army is fully prepared to respond to threats on both the eastern and western borders. He said that the army is keeping a strict vigil on all fronts.

On the success of Gazab-lil-Haq, the military spokesperson said that so far 274 Afghan Taliban regime people and fighters have been killed, while more than 400 have been injured. He described these figures as based on available assessments of the battlefield.

He said that Pakistan Army destroyed 73 enemy posts and captured 18. 115 tanks, armored personnel carriers and artillery of the opposing forces were destroyed. He confirmed that 12 soldiers were martyred while defending the country, 27 others were injured and one soldier is still missing.
