9 leopards reached Kuno National Park from Botswana, number increased to 48
Bhopal. New guests have arrived in Kuno National Park located in Sheopur district of Madhya Pradesh. Nine leopards reached Kuno on Saturday morning after a 12-hour air journey from Botswana.
At present the number of leopards in India is 39, with the arrival of 9 leopards from Botswana their number will increase to 48. The cheetahs were brought to Kuno National Park from Gwalior by helicopter at around 9:30 am and after being brought here, all of them were directly shifted to the quarantine enclosures.
