Sankalp Budget 2026-27 will take Chhattisgarh to new heights of development: Narayan Chandel
Korba. A press conference regarding Budget 2026-27 was organized by former leader of opposition Narayan Chandel on Sunday at Ashirwad Point, TP Nagar Korba.
In the press conference, division in-charge Jagdish Ramu Rohra, BJP District President Gopal Modi, co-division in-charge Raipur Dr. Rajiv Singh, former mayor Jogesh Lamba, district Sanjay Sharma, Ajay Vishwakarma, Ajay Pandey, district vice president Yogesh Jain, Lucky Nanda, district media in-charge Arjun Gupta, Shailendra Yadav, Neeraj Thakur and journalist brothers of the district had notable presence. During this, Chandel described the theme of the third budget of the state government as “Sankalp” as important for the overall development of the state. He said that the budget presented by Finance Minister OP Chaudhary focuses on inclusive growth, infrastructure, investment, agriculture, education and employment generation and is in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Developed India-Developed Chhattisgarh.
Chandel said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, this budget will give a new direction of development to the state. Congratulating the Chief Minister and the Finance Minister for the budget, he said that this document is a roadmap for the economic strength and social empowerment of the state.
Budget of Rs 200 crore for Chief Minister Model City Prosperity Scheme
Focus here on inclusive growth, infrastructure, investment and employment in the budget. The budget is in line with Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Developed India-Developed Chhattisgarh’. In this budget, the maximum budget provision of 13.5 percent has been made for school education. There will be a provision for cashless treatment for government employees. Rs 250 crore has been provided for 23 new industrial parks. Rs 200 crore has been kept for the Chief Minister Adarsh Shehar Samriddhi Yojana.
Budget of Rs 13,500 crore for agriculture sector
There is a provision of Rs 200 crore for the Land Development Bank Scheme. A budget of Rs 13,500 crore has been kept for the agriculture sector. The difference amount of Rs 3100 per quintal of paddy purchase will be given in lump sum in future also.
The third budget of our government has been presented. The first budget of the state government was on the theme of knowledge and the second budget was on the theme of speed. This time our theme is resolution. Through Sankalp, we have prominently included topics like inclusive development, infrastructure, investment, skilled human resources, Antyodaya, Livelihood and from policy to result. This budget of ours has been prepared in accordance with the needs of the concept of Developed India and Developed Chhattisgarh of the successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
