Rajpal Yadav and Priyadarshan: Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav had recently made a lot of headlines regarding the news of his jail. Rajpal, trapped in a case worth crores of rupees, is now out of jail and has returned to the film world. Recently, director Priyadarshan, who has made many films with Rajpal, had said something about him which he did not like to hear. Not only this, Rajpal even told Priyadarshan that he did not know that I am well educated and have been working since the age of 14.
What did Priyadarshan say?
In a previous interview with Midday, Priyadarshan had talked about Rajpal’s condition, saying that he had asked the producers of his upcoming film to increase the actor’s fees because of his condition and they wanted to save him. He also commented that Rajpal made a mistake due to his low education, while describing him as a noble soul. Responding sharply to this, Rajpal told the screen, ‘This is absolutely wrong. Priyan ji does not know me. I am an educated person, I have worked from the age of 11 to the age of 55. Even the biggest legends sometimes get into trouble, but it has nothing to do with their education. If I had been less educated, I would not have been able to survive here for 25-30 years.

Despite their disagreement, the actor maintained respect for the filmmaker. ‘I have great respect for the three directors, Ram Gopal Varma, David Dhawan and Priyadarshan. I consider him my role model. I have done more than 50 films with these three. There is no point in having less education because the objective here is something else. I am like Priyadarshan ji’s son. Whenever they ask me, I am ready to test them as an actor throughout my life. But Priyadarshan ji or anyone from Bollywood does not know the whole story, so none of their opinions matter. Let us tell you that Priyadarshan has given famous roles to Rajpal Yadav in many films. Out of these, his character in Hera Pheri is amazing and Rajpal has done wonders in most of the films. Rajpal respects his director Priyadarshan a lot.
