Nepali citizen killed in Iranian attack identified, preparations to bring mortal remains
Kathmandu. Nepali citizen killed in UAE in Iranian attack has been identified. He was working as a security guard in a Middle East company. Preparations are being made to bring his mortal remains home soon.
According to the Nepali Embassy, 29-year-old Shrestha, a resident of Gorkha, was working as a security guard in a Middle East company. Nepalese national Shrestha died while neutralizing a drone at Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
The embassy statement said that all necessary procedures are being coordinated, including repatriation of his mortal remains as soon as possible. Keeping in mind the sensitive situation, the Embassy has appealed to all Nepali citizens living in UAE to exercise restraint and stay in safe places.
