Miscreants fired indiscriminately in a luxury hotel, owner dead, three seriously injured
Churu. Last night, three miscreants opened indiscriminate fire at Hotel The Royal Treat located in Bidasar town of the district. Hotel owner Maniram Manda died on the spot in the attack, while three other people were seriously injured.
CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced on Tuesday morning, in which the miscreants can be seen taking out a country-made pistol and firing as soon as they entered the hotel restaurant. According to the hotel staff, there was a large crowd present in the restaurant when the attackers entered.
As soon as the miscreants entered, they opened fire indiscriminately at the people standing around the table. The firing caused chaos. It is being told that bullets were fired continuously for about five minutes.
According to eyewitnesses, the main target of the accused was hotel owner Maniram Manda. He was shot several times at close range. Clear information regarding the number of bullets has not been revealed yet.
After committing the incident, the miscreants fled from the spot while firing. Their faces are clearly visible in the CCTV footage, which is helping in identification.
District Superintendent of Police Jai Yadav said that three attackers entered the hotel and carried out the crime. The hotel was sealed immediately after the incident and heavy police force was deployed. According to the police, Maniram Manda was associated with liquor and hotel business. In the preliminary investigation, mutual rivalry and dispute related to liquor business are being considered as the possible reason for the murder.
Bhikharam Jat, Shravan Jat and Prabhuram Prajapat resident Dadiba were seriously injured in the firing. He was first admitted to Bagadiya Hospital in Sujangarh, from where after first aid, he was referred to Jaipur for better treatment.
SP Jai Yadav said that an attacker has been identified and police teams have been sent to different areas to arrest him. The FSL team has collected important evidence from the spot. At present the situation in the area is under control and the police is engaged in a thorough investigation of the entire matter.
