Uttar Pradesh SI Recruitment Exam 2026: City slip released from today, exam will be held on 14 and 15 March

Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has issued important information for the candidates before the written examination of Direct Recruitment-2025 for Sub Inspector (Civil Police) and equivalent posts. The board has announced to release the advance information of the examination city/district (District/City Information Slip) for the candidates appearing in the examination.
According to the Recruitment Board, candidates will be able to get information about their examination city or district by visiting the official website of the board, uppbpb.gov.in, from March 6, 2026. For this, candidates will have to login through their registration number and date of birth, after which they will be able to download the District/City Information Slip. The Board has clarified that this slip is being issued only for the purpose of giving advance information about the examination city. It will not be considered as admit card.
The purpose of this arrangement is that the candidates can know in advance in which district their examination will be held, so that they can make their travel and other necessary arrangements in time. According to the schedule released by the Recruitment Board, the written examination of Sub Inspector Recruitment will be conducted on 14 and 15 March 2026 at various examination centers in all the 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh. The examination will be conducted in two shifts on both the days. The first shift will be from 10 am to 12 noon and the second shift will be from 3 pm to 5 pm.
According to the board, admit cards will be issued three days before the exam date. The admit card for the examination to be held on March 14 will be issued on March 11, 2026 and the admit card for the examination to be held on March 15 will be issued on March 12, 2026. Candidates will be able to download the admit card by entering their registration number and date of birth on the official website. The Recruitment Board has advised all the candidates to read the instructions related to the examination carefully and keep an eye on the official notifications issued from time to time.
