New Delhi: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the merit list of Civil Services Final Exam. Anuj Agnihotri has topped the UPSC CSE exam. Anuj Agnihotri, resident of Rajasthan, has topped the UPSC CSE exam 2026. Anuj passed this exam in the third attempt. Rajeshwari Suve M and Akansh Dhull have secured second and third position respectively. The Commission said that a total of 958 candidates have cleared the examination. The result was declared on Friday, March 6. According to the official notice, a total of 958 candidates have been recommended for appointment in Group A and Group B in Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and various central services.
Who is Anuj Agnihotri?
Dr. Anuj Agnihotri, resident of Anu Nagri Rawatbhata of Chittorgarh district, has become the topper of UPSC. He completed his primary schooling there and then went to Jodhpur for higher education. He studied Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from All India Institute of Medical Sciences Jodhpur (AIIMS Jodhpur). After doing MBBS in 2023, he gave UPSC exam and got appointment to the post of Sub Divisional Officer in Delhi and Union Territory. Even after this he continued his efforts and this time he has topped.
Anuj completed his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya Rawatbhata. His father KB Agnihotri is working under operations in Rawatbhata. His mother is Gharani. Anuj, who is fond of table tennis, had scored 94% marks in class 12th. Speaking to India TV, Anuj said that he used to study for an average of 8 hours. Whatever I could do by being a doctor, I can do the same work in a better way by becoming an IAS officer. Giving a message to those preparing for the exam, he said that they should work hard. You will definitely get success.
