High-profile marriage of two IPS officers: Bareilly SP Anshika Verma and Sambhal SP KK Bishnoi will tie the knot on March 28.
Bareilly/Lucknow. Bareilly SP South Anshika Verma and Sambhal SP Krishna Kumar Bishnoi (KK Bishnoi) are going to get married soon. The relationship was fixed with the consent of the families of both the IPS officers and now the preparations for the marriage have started. The wedding cards have been printed and the three-day wedding program has been planned.
According to the information, the marriage ceremony will start from March 28. The procession will start from Krishna Niwas in Barmer and the marriage rituals will be completed on the same day. The farewell program has been scheduled for the morning of March 29, while a grand reception will be held at a resort in Jodhpur on March 30. A women’s sangeet program has also been organized before the marriage.
IPS Krishna Kumar Bishnoi is an officer of the year 2018 batch and originally belongs to the prestigious Bishnoi family of Barmer. Recently, after the mosque incident in Sambhal, his working style was much talked about and he is considered among the trusted officers of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
IPS Anshika Verma is a 2021 batch officer and is originally a resident of Prayagraj. After studying engineering, he passed the Civil Services Examination through self-study without any coaching. From September 2024, he is posted as SP Southern in Bareilly. Before this, she had also served as ASP in Gorakhpur.
Anshika Verma is known for her active working style in matters of women’s safety, cyber crime and technology based policing. She was honored with the Women Icon Award at the fifth annual Women’s Summit of the BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry held in Delhi in March 2025.
It is being told that many senior IPS officers including Bareilly SSP Anurag Arya will attend this wedding ceremony. Apart from this, some politicians from Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh are also likely to attend the program. This marriage of famous IPS officers of both the states has become a topic of much discussion in administrative and social circles.
