Crispy Dosa: Dosa is a dish which is eaten fondly not only by South Indians but also by North Indians. But when it comes to making dosa at home, people hesitate. Actually, to make Dosa, pulses and rice have to be soaked for several hours. And then the batter has to be prepared by grinding it. But perhaps you don’t know that you can make market-like crispy dosa even without pulses and rice. This dosa will be ready in just 15 minutes. For this you will just need semolina, some flour, gram flour and curd. So let us know the easy way to make market like crisp dosa.
Make dosa batter from semolina
To prepare the batter, first take a cup of semolina and put it in a mixer jar. Now add some wheat flour and some gram flour to it. Grind all these by adding little water. After grinding, add half cup curd to it. After the batter is ready, leave it for 5-10 minutes.
Prepare spiced potatoes
What makes Dosa special is the spiced potatoes stuffed in it. To prepare it, add some oil in the pan. When the oil becomes hot, add mustard seeds to it. After this add some chana dal and curry leaves. Now add finely chopped onion and fry until it turns golden. Then add spices to it and when the spices are roasted, add boiled potatoes to it and fry it well with the spices. Keep in mind that the potatoes have to be mashed and added.
Make crispy dosa on the pan like this
To make crispy dosa, take an iron pan and heat it well. After the pan is hot, apply some oil and grease it. After this, sprinkle a little water on the pan, so that the temperature becomes balanced. Now pour a ladle of batter on the pan and spread it thinly by rotating it. After this, add some ghee on it and cook it on low flame. Within a few minutes the dosa will become golden and crisp. Then fill potato stuffing in it and serve hot.
