Bhopal . Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has expressed happiness over the birth of five cubs in Kuno National Park. He said that the officers and employees of Kuno Park deserve congratulations for better care of the leopards.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said in a statement on Monday that another pleasing news has been received from Kuno National Park. In Kuno Park, the female cheetah “Jwala” has given birth to five cubs. It is an important achievement for the cheetah project that the cheetahs have successfully given birth for the 10th time after their relocation. This is a symbol of the fact that the cheetahs have liked the climate here.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that with the birth of five cubs of female cheetah Jwala, the total number of cheetahs in India has crossed the 50 mark to 53. Cheetah restoration work has proven important from the point of view of wildlife conservation, nature and tourism development. Madhya Pradesh has a special identity as a “friendly home” for leopards.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that this is definitely a proud moment for wildlife conservation. The officers and staff of Kuno National Park and Forest Department deserve congratulations for the success of their efforts for better care and rehabilitation of leopards in India.
