Pentagon said- 140 American soldiers injured in 10 days in war with Iran
Washington. Nearly 140 US troops have been injured in the first 10 days of the war with Iran, the Pentagon said on Tuesday. The Pentagon estimates that the US spent $5.6 billion on ammunition in the first two days of the war. These details of the expenditure have been shared with Congress this week.
“Most of them have minor injuries. Eight remain seriously injured and are receiving the best medical care,” Sean Parnell, the Pentagon’s chief spokesman, said in a statement, CBS News reported. US officials said 16 Iranian military vessels had been destroyed. Despite this, Iran has again started preparing to lay landmines in the Strait of Hormuz.
