Missiles rain in Gulf sky, Hezbollah fired 150 rockets at Israel

Tehran/Tel Aviv/Washington. The ongoing military conflict between Iran, Israel and the United States intensified for the 13th day on Thursday. The flames of this war, which started on February 28, are now seen spreading across the entire Gulf region. The security situation of West Asia has become extremely serious due to continuous missile and drone attacks.
Meanwhile, Iranian President Masoud Pejeshkian has put three conditions before the international community to stop the war. He said that if Iran’s legal rights are recognized, war damages are compensated and there is an international guarantee that there will be no future attacks, then Iran is ready to stop the war with immediate effect. Pejeshkian also made it clear that willingness to negotiate should not be considered weakness.
On the other hand, US President Donald Trump’s statement is currently showing no signs of reducing tension. He told a rally in Kentucky that the US has made headway in the campaign against Iran, but the fight will continue until the mission is accomplished. The US Defense Department Pentagon told Parliament that America has spent about $ 11.3 billion in the first six days of the war. About five billion dollars were spent on arms and ammunition.
A powerful explosion occurred near the US Consulate and Erbil International Airport in Erbil city of Iraq amid the expanding scope of the war. According to reports, smoke was seen rising in the area. Earlier, Iranian drones targeted two foreign oil tankers in Iraq’s maritime zone, killing one person while 38 people were saved. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia claimed that its air defense system shot down more than 20 drones in the eastern part. A fuel tank was also reported to have been targeted in Bahrain’s northern Muharraq region.
The United Arab Emirates said its air defense systems were responding to missile and drone threats coming from Iran. A minor fire broke out when a drone fell on a building near Creek Harbor in Dubai, which was quickly extinguished.
Iran-backed organization Hezbollah also fired at least 150 rockets at Israel, further intensifying the conflict. This attack is considered to be the biggest attack of the war that has been going on since February 28. In response, Israel Defense Forces launched airstrikes on Hezbollah positions in Beirut. During the attacks, sirens were sounded in many areas of northern Israel and millions of people fled to shelters. According to Israeli officials, several rockets were intercepted, although there were reports of fires at some places and two people were injured.
Meanwhile, the FBI has shared an internal document with the California administration, in which it is feared that Iran may launch a drone attack at some time. Although state Governor Gavin Newsom said that no immediate threat has been confirmed at this time, but security agencies are alert. India has also expressed concern over the attack on a Thai cargo ship ‘Mayuri Nari’ in the Strait of Hormuz amid increasing tension in West Asia. The ship was approaching Kandla port, Gujarat.
India’s Ministry of External Affairs said that security of vital sea routes is extremely important for global trade and energy supply. The ministry has appealed to all parties to exercise restraint and ensure the safety of international maritime routes.
