Ingredients for Banana Barfi
Three bananas, one cup jaggery, half cup ghee, half cup wheat flour, a little less than half cup semolina, one spoon saffron powder, one spoon cardamom powder, half cup mixed dry fruits, two spoons ghee.
How to make banana barfi?
Step 1: To make banana barfi, first take three ripe bananas. Put them in a mixer jar and make a paste.
Step 2: Put one cup of jaggery in a pan on the gas and add one cup of water to it and cook until it turns into a thick syrup.
Step 3: Now put half a cup of ghee in another pan, add half a cup of wheat flour and semolina and cook well until it turns brown.
Fourth Step: When the flour turns well brown, add banana puree to it and cook well again on low flame.
Fifth Step: When all these are cooked well, then add jaggery syrup and saffron powder and cook well.
Sixth Step: When it is cooked well, then add two spoons of ghee, cardamom powder and mixed dry fruits and mix well again.
Seventh Step: When the mixture cools down slightly, pour it into a container to set and set it well.
Eighth Step: Now keep this mixture in the refrigerator for two to three hours to set. After the stipulated time, take out the mixture from the container and then with the help of a knife, cut it into the shape of a pancake.
