Weather patterns will change in Madhya Pradesh from tomorrow, warning of thunderstorm and rain in many districts

Bhopal. The weather patterns are going to change in Madhya Pradesh. From tomorrow, March 18, a strong Western Disturbance will be active in the state, due to which more than half of the districts may see storm, rain and thundershowers for the next three days. It is also likely to affect big cities like Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Ujjain and Jabalpur.

According to the Meteorological Department, Western Disturbance will become active in North-West India from the night of March 17, which will also affect Madhya Pradesh. For this reason, there is a possibility of rain and strong winds in many districts of the state during March 18, 19 and 20. Earlier on Monday, intense heat was felt in most parts of the state. The temperature will remain high on Tuesday also and there are less chances of people getting relief from the heat. For the first time in this season of March, such a strong weather system is becoming active. Due to this, the effect of weather may persist in different parts of the state for about three to four days. At some places there will be rain and thunderstorms along with thunderstorms, while at some places it will be cloudy.

At present three systems are active, but the effect is less

According to the Meteorological Department, at present two cyclonic circulations and one trough line are active in the state, but their effect is not visible much. For this reason, the effect of heat remained in most areas of the state on Monday. Khargone was the hottest city of the state, where the maximum temperature was recorded at 38.4 degrees Celsius. The temperature in Narsinghpur, Narmadapuram, Raisen, Seoni, Mandla, Tikamgarh, Sagar and Khajuraho also remained at 37 degrees or more. Talking about five big cities, the maximum temperature in Jabalpur was recorded at 35.8 degrees Celsius. Temperature was recorded at 35.2 degrees in Bhopal, 35 degrees in Indore, 34.1 degrees in Gwalior and 35 degrees in Ujjain.

There will be more heat in April-May

The Meteorological Department has predicted severe heat in April and May this year. In these months, the temperature in the districts of Gwalior, Chambal, Jabalpur, Rewa, Shahdol and Sagar divisions can cross 45 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, the effect of heat will also be more in Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain and Narmadapuram divisions. The department estimates that this time the heat wave may last for about 15 to 20 days during April and May.
