Chance of rain with strong winds in Delhi NCR during next 24 hours?
New Delhi: The weather pattern is going to change once again in Delhi. This time the weather may remain bad from March 18 to March 20. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain, thunderstorm and strong winds in Delhi and surrounding areas. The temperature may drop due to rain. This will provide relief from heat.
How will the weather be on Wednesday, March 18?
According to the information given by the Meteorological Department, the sky will be cloudy on Wednesday. There may be light rain or drizzle along with thunder. Strong winds at a speed of 20-40 km per hour may occur with lightning at night. At the same time, there is a possibility of light rain on Thursday also. During this period, the maximum temperature of Delhi can be recorded at 32°C to 34°C.
19 March i.e. Thursday, chances of rain with storm
The Meteorological Department said that it will remain cloudy on Thursday also. In the afternoon or evening, there will be light rain accompanied by lightning and gusty winds with a speed of 30-40 kmph, which can reach up to 50 kmph.
Weather will remain bad on March 20 also
The sky will be generally cloudy on Friday, March 20. There may be light rain in the morning. During this period, strong winds can blow at a speed of 30-50 km per hour. During this period, the maximum temperature in Delhi can range from 27°C to 29°C. The minimum temperature in Delhi is likely to be between 17°C to 19°C.
It rained on Sunday
Earlier, there had been intermittent rain in Delhi from morning till afternoon on Sunday. After the rain, there has been some relief from the heat in Delhi. The Meteorological Department said that till 8.30 am, eight mm of rain was recorded. According to IMD, Safdarjung and Lodhi Road observatories recorded 0.8 mm rainfall each while Palam received 0.4 mm rainfall. Many areas of Delhi-NCR remained light cloudy on Tuesday also.
