Escorts Kubota: The state government is fully active in promoting industrial investment in Uttar Pradesh. In this series, land has been allotted to 3 big companies in Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) area. This allocation has been made on the recommendation of Invest UP, which has further strengthened the investment environment in the state. These projects will bring a total investment of more than Rs 3,400 crore and provide employment to more than 5,700 people. Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority CEO R. Of. Singh said that 154 acres of land has been allotted to Escorts Kubota Limited in Sector-10.
Escorts Kubota will provide employment to 4,000 people
Escorts will set up Kubota tractor and construction equipment manufacturing unit in Sector-10. There will be an investment of about Rs 2,029 crore in this project and around 4,000 people will get employment. This unit will give new strength to the agriculture and infrastructure sectors in the state. He informed that CNH Industrial India Private Limited has been given 100 acres of land in Sector-8-D. The company will set up a tractor manufacturing unit here, with an investment of Rs 1,219.81 crore. This project will provide employment to about 1,200 people. This investment will help in making Uttar Pradesh a major hub of agricultural machinery manufacturing.
Land allotted to Sun Organic Industries Pvt. in Sector-8D
R. Of. Singh said that Sun Organic Industries Private Limited has been allotted 30,000 square meter land in Sector-8D. The company will set up a dry fruit processing and packaging unit here. There will be an investment of about Rs 225.16 crore in this project and 569 people will get employment. This will boost the food processing industry and create new employment opportunities at the local level. He said that the increasing investment in Uttar Pradesh is being considered as a result of the government’s industry friendly policies, single window system and better infrastructure.
Local economy will get strengthened
Yamuna Expressway area is rapidly developing as an industrial centre, where big companies are coming forward to invest. The commencement of all these projects will not only provide employment to thousands of youth but will also strengthen the local economy. With this, supply chain, logistics and industrial activities will accelerate, which will boost the overall development of the state.
