New Delhi. It has now been made mandatory to assign seats to passengers booked on the same PNR together in the flight. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has issued instructions in this regard to all the airline companies.
It says that it will be mandatory to allot at least 60 percent seats without any extra fee. Also, for tickets booked on the same PNR, passengers will have to be given seats together, as far as possible they have been asked to provide adjacent seats.
