There was a festive atmosphere in the country as soon as the Eid moon was sighted, PM Narendra Modi and President Draupadi Murmu extended best wishes.

New Delhi . As soon as the moon of Eid-ul-Fitr appeared after the entire 30 fasts and prayers of Ramadan, an atmosphere of happiness and enthusiasm was created in the entire country. Announcements were made from mosques, people celebrated by burning firecrackers and congratulated each other by hugging each other.

On this occasion, Narendra Modi, while wishing the countrymen on Eid, said that this festival should strengthen the spirit of brotherhood and compassion and bring happiness and peace in everyone’s life. While congratulating the countrymen, especially the Muslim community, Draupadi Murmu described Eid as a festival giving the message of self-control, service and helping the needy.

Along with this, the Prime Minister also extended good wishes on the occasion of Navroz and wished that this New Year brings happiness, prosperity and health in everyone’s life. He wished everyone Happy Navroz and described this festival of the Parsi community as a symbol of the beginning of the new year.
