American MPs are asking questions, when will the war with Iran end and at what cost?
Washington: America, along with Israel, attacked Iran on 28 February 2026 and now this war has spread to all the Gulf countries. Israel and America have created havoc in Iran and Iran is also giving a befitting reply to America and Israel. US President Donald Trump pushed America into war without the support of Congress, but lawmakers are now raising questions about when, how and at what cost the war with Iran will end. MPs say it has been three weeks since the war started and now its consequences are becoming clear. At least 13 American military personnel have been killed so far in this war and more than 230 have been injured.
Pentagon has asked for 200 billion US dollars
The Pentagon has asked for 200 billion US dollars from the war fund to continue the war, which has not yet been received from the White House. Due to this attack by America and Israel, America’s allies are being attacked, oil prices are skyrocketing and thousands of American soldiers are being deployed in West Asia, while there is no final solution to this problem in sight.
Trump had said – we will end the military campaign
Republican Senator Thom Tillis of North Carolina told The Associated Press, “The real question is, what are we ultimately trying to accomplish?” Trump said late Friday that he was considering “ending” military operations, and also outlined new objectives and goals. Speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson has said that the military operation will end soon. “I think the original mission has almost been accomplished,” Johnson said.
