“Take my ministerial post, but give reservation to the society” – Dr. Sanjay Nishad emotional in Gorakhpur, tears shed from the stage

Lucknow . On Sunday, the provincial convention of Nishad Party was organized at Mahant Digvijay Nath Park in Gorakhpur, where a political and emotional atmosphere was seen on the issue of reservation. In the program, Cabinet Minister Dr. Sanjay Nishad raised his voice strongly regarding the rights of Nishad community.

During his address, Dr. Nishad became emotional and told the stage that reservation is the constitutional right of his society. He even said that if needed in the interest of the society, he is ready to leave his ministerial post. Making an emotional appeal, he said, “Take my ministerial post, but give reservation to my community.” During this, tears welled up in his eyes.

Placing an important proposal before the government, Dr. Nishad said that the fishermen community should be included in the Scheduled Caste by reducing the reservation of OBC category by 9 percent. He said that this will provide relief to the Nishad community from the social and economic inequality that has been going on for years. He reiterated in his address that the Nishad community should get its constitutional rights and the government should take a decision in this direction soon.
