Big opportunity for women: Recruitment of 2584 conductors in UP Roadways, employment fairs start from March 25

Lucknow . With the aim of promoting women empowerment in Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation, 2584 contractual women conductors will be recruited. For this recruitment process, employment fairs are being organized across the state, which will start from March 25. Giving information, Minister of State for Transport (Independent Charge) Dayashankar Singh said that the selected candidates will be posted in the depot of their home district only, so that they can get employment opportunities in their area.

He said that for recruitment it is mandatory for the candidate to have intermediate pass and CCC certificate. Along with this, it is also necessary for the candidate to be associated with Uttar Pradesh National Rural Livelihood Mission or Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission. In the merit list, 5 percent additional weightage will be given to the candidates having NCC ‘B’ certificate, NSS, Scout-Guide’s state or President’s award. The selection process will be completely merit based, in which selection will be done on the basis of intermediate marks. The selected women operators will get the same pay scale as other operators on contract.

March 25: Saharanpur, Jhansi, Kanpur, Chitrakootdham-Banda, Prayagraj

March 28: Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Bareilly, Ayodhya, Varanasi

March 30: Meerut, Etawah, Hardoi, Devipatan, Azamgarh

April 1: Noida, Agra, Moradabad, Lucknow, Gorakhpur
