Big news for Rinku Singh, will become a big officer of UP

The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to entrust him with an important responsibility. Rinku Singh will be appointed to the post of Regional Sports Officer in the state.

Actually, the Uttar Pradesh government is going to give government jobs to many players including Rinku, who has brought fame to the country and the state at the international level. Apart from Rinku Singh, names of many other players are also included in this list. Praveen Kumar, who performed brilliantly in para athletics, and Raj Kumar Pal, who won a medal in hockey at the Paris Olympics, will be appointed to the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police.

CM Yogi Adityanath will hand over appointment letter
Apart from this, para athletes Ajit Singh and Simran will be made District Panchayat Raj Officer, while Preeti Pal will be given the responsibility of the post of Block Development Officer. All these appointments are being made under the Uttar Pradesh International Medal Winners Direct Recruitment Rules-2022, through which players who have won medals on big platforms like Olympics, Paralympics, Commonwealth Games and Asian Games are honored. On Tuesday, March 24, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will hand over appointment letters to these players at Lok Bhawan in Lucknow.

KKR’s first match on 29 March
It is noteworthy that Rinku Singh’s team Kolkata Knight Riders will start its campaign in IPL 2026 on March 29. KKR’s first match will be against Mumbai Indians. This match will be played at Wankhede Stadium. Rinku Singh must have set his sights on doing wonders in the IPL from the very first match. Rinku has been a part of the KKR team for a long time. He has been with KKR since 2018. He has scored 1099 runs for Kolkata in 59 IPL matches, which includes 4 half-centuries. During this period his average was 30.52 and strike rate was 145.17.
