Farmers are the destiny makers of the country, their prosperity is our resolve: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that farmers are the destiny makers of our country. They grow food for everyone with their hard work in the scorching heat of the sun. In the Farmer Welfare Year, the state government is committed to the prosperity of the farmers.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the state level farmers conference organized in Datia district on Tuesday. Paying homage to Lord Shri Balram, he said that the farmers of the state should do farming with modern agricultural equipment, double their income from food processing by starting animal husbandry, fisheries and agro-based industries. Many schemes are being offered for this. Now our farmers are also making chaff using machines for weed management, which has given them a golden opportunity to earn from both wheat and chaff.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is continuously progressing in all fields. There is no country in the world where there was a crisis and the initiative of Prime Minister Modi did not ensure the return of Indian citizens to their homes. Madhya Pradesh government is moving forward shoulder to shoulder to realize Prime Minister Modi’s resolve of a developed India. He said that Madhya Pradesh will very soon become the number-1 state of the country.
The Chief Minister gifted development works worth Rs 62.23 crore to Datia in the farmers’ conference. He inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 12 development works costing Rs 62.23 crore. This includes the grand Sandipani School, Yatri Niwas at the divine place Ratangarh, stadium and other development works. The Chief Minister also distributed benefits for agricultural equipment, animal husbandry and food processing to the beneficiaries in the conference.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Lord Shri Krishna dedicated his entire life for public welfare. Sandipani schools of the state are like temples of children’s golden future. Children studying in government schools are being given free books, dresses, bicycles, laptops and even scooters. Milk packets will also be distributed to children under Yashoda Yojana from this academic session. He said that all the eligible Ladli sisters of the state are getting an amount of Rs 1500 every month.
Now no farmer will migrate from Bundelkhand region
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government is working with commitment to increase the area under irrigation in the state. The area under irrigation was once 7.5 lakh hectares, which has now increased to 55 lakh hectares. In the last two years, the area of irrigated land has increased by about one million hectares. Through the Ken-Betwa Link River Link Project, farmers of Bundelkhand region and surrounding districts will get sufficient water for irrigation. The Central Government has given an important gift of river interlinking project to Madhya Pradesh, the benefits of which will also be available to some districts of Uttar Pradesh. Now no farmer will be forced to migrate from Bundelkhand region.
Agricultural equipment will be given on rent to small farmers
The Chief Minister said that farmers should not burn weeds in the fields after harvesting the crop, this reduces the fertility of the land. The state government is providing Happy Seeder machines to the beneficiaries for chaff manufacturing. Farmers should prepare chaff and sell it in nearby cowsheds. Now farmers will get money for wheat as well as straw. Small farmers should get agricultural equipment on rent on time and their farming becomes better. For this, custom hiring centers i.e. rental shops of agricultural equipment are being opened at the assembly level. In changing times, everyone needs adequate electricity. After the rainy season, 24 hours electricity will be provided to the farmers for irrigation. Many schemes have been implemented for farmers.
Income of farmers of the state will increase with milk production
The Chief Minister said that the state government has started Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Kamdhenu Scheme to increase the income of farmers from animal husbandry. It has been resolved to increase milk production in the state from 9 percent to 20 percent. The state government has decided to give a grant of Rs 10 lakh under Kamdhenu Yojana to establish a grant of Rs 40 lakh per unit for rearing 25 cows. To ensure that farmers get the right price for their produce, benefits have been given on soybean through Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana. Now mustard crop has also been included in Bhavantar Yojana. The state government has given a bonus of Rs 40 per quintal on the support price to wheat producing farmers this year.
The work of the first phase of Dr. Ambedkar’s pilgrimage was completed.
The Chief Minister said that taking inspiration from the life of Lord Krishna, Geeta Bhavans are being constructed in villages, Vrindavan Gram and urban bodies. Geeta preached from the mouth of Lord Shri Krishna has everything that the society needs. The places of worship of Lord Shri Krishna and Lord Shri Ram are being developed as pilgrimage sites. Janapav near Indore is being made a pilgrimage site. The work of the first phase of the pilgrimage of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar has been completed. Funds have been sanctioned for the second phase of work. The government is working for the welfare of all sections. Working on the principle of live and let live in the state, rehabilitation of leopards has been done in Kuno National Park of Shivpuri. A new Madhav Tiger Reserve has also been created.
The farmer said emotionally that Shabari has found Ram.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav suddenly reached the farmer’s field in Bhander. He rode the straw reaper machine running in the farmer’s field. The Chief Minister took information from the farmer about the straw reaper machine running in his field and the benefits he was getting from it. The farmer became emotional when the Chief Minister suddenly came to his farm and said, it seems as if Ram has come to meet Shabari.
Farmer presented new grain to the Chief Minister
The farmer presented the idol of Radha Krishna to the Chief Minister. The farmer presented the newly arrived grains to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav as a gift.
Visited the exhibition
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited the exhibition based on weeding and stubble management organized by various departments in the conference. More than 20 stalls were set up in the exhibition. In this, stalls of various departments including Agricultural Engineering, Animal Welfare Department, Cooperative Department, Horticulture Department were set up. The exhibition showcased Happy Seeder SuperSeeder, e-token system launched by the government for fertilizers, natural farming, millets, and various schemes of the government.
