TVS dominates the electric two wheeler market, Bajaj Auto at second place.
New Delhi. TVS Motor has maintained its dominance in the electric two wheeler market even in the month of March. Till March 27, a total of 1,39,238 electric two wheelers were registered in the country. In this, TVS Motor stood first with 27.30 percent market share.
A total of 38,007 electric two wheelers manufactured by TVS Motors have been registered so far. After TVS Motor, Bajaj Auto has been at second place in terms of selling electric two wheelers.
The market share of electric two wheelers manufactured by Bajaj Auto is 24 percent. So far, 33,447 electric two wheelers manufactured by Bajaj Auto have been registered.
According to the registration data released by the government-maintained vehicle portal, Ather Energy stood at the third position by selling 26,151 electric two wheelers in the month of March.
Ather Energy’s market share in the electric two wheeler segment is 18.8 percent. The sales of Ather Energy’s 450 series and family scooter Rizta have contributed significantly to this achievement of the company.
Hero MotoCorp stood fourth in terms of selling electric two wheelers in the month of March. Hero MotoCorp’s electric mobility brand Vida ranked fourth in the electric two-wheeler segment during the month of March with 15,683 registrations and 11.3 percent market share.
Whereas Ola Electric sold 6,381 electric two wheelers during the month of March. This month, Ola Electric’s market share in the electric two wheeler segment was 4.6 percent and the company stood at fifth position.
Apart from these major companies, among other companies, Ampere registered 5,378 electric two wheelers with 3.9 percent market share, while River Company registered 3,135 electric two wheelers with 2.3 percent market share.
In the month of March, Bighaus sold a total of 2,296 electric two wheelers. The company’s market share in the electric two wheeler segment is 1.6 percent. Similarly, only 259 electric two wheelers of Pure EV have been sold so far in the month of March.
The company has a market share of only 0.2 percent in the electric two wheeler segment. Apart from these, many other small and emerging electric two wheeler manufacturers sold a total of 8,501 electric two wheelers during March. These small manufacturers together have a market share of 6.1 percent in the electric two wheeler segment.
