A trolley loaded with tractors went out of control and hung on the bridge, a major accident was averted.
Mathura. On Monday afternoon, a trolley loaded with tractors went out of control and hung on the bridge near Gokul Restaurant on the Delhi-Agra National Highway. The situation became extremely dangerous due to the service road under the bridge. The driver was injured in the accident, who was immediately sent to the hospital. His condition is currently said to be stable.
According to eyewitnesses, the trolley suddenly went out of control on the route towards Agra, climbed onto the railing of the bridge and got stuck there.
Many tractors were loaded in the trolley, which further increased the seriousness of the accident. After the incident, the police reached the spot and controlled the traffic, due to which there was a jam on the highway for some time. A crane was called to remove the trolley, but a controversy arose over the process of removing it.
Crane operators said that it is necessary to unload the tractors loaded in the trolley first, otherwise a major accident can occur due to loss of balance. The trolley owner claimed that the vehicle could be removed in its current condition.
Seeing the possible danger, the crane driver clearly refused to do the work without unloading the tractor. At present, a plan is being made to remove the trolley safely in the presence of police.
