Bhagalpur. Under the guidance of Manish Kumar Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager, Malda and under the supervision of Kartik Singh, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Malda, the second mobile food van service was started at Bhagalpur Railway Station on Friday. The objective of this initiative is to provide hygienic and quality food to passengers during their journey, thereby enhancing passenger amenities and improving catering services at the station premises. The newly launched mobile food van was inaugurated by Dr. Satyendra Kumar, Assistant Chief Medical Superintendent, Bhagalpur Railway Health Unit, along with Utpal Sharma, Station Director, Bhagalpur.
Station Superintendent, Commercial Inspector, other railway officials and passengers were also present on this occasion. It is noteworthy that this van has been designed to provide fresh, affordable and quality food items to the passengers and visitors at the station. This initiative reflects Malda Division’s continued commitment towards improving the passenger experience through innovative catering solutions, especially during peak times like the festive season. The mobile food van is attractively designed and equipped with modern features to maintain hygiene, cleanliness and efficient service.
