Jabalpur. In Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, at 8:00 pm on Sunday night, between Suratlai and Katangi, an unknown tractor driver hit a bike rider at high speed, due to which he died on the spot.
According to eyewitnesses, the bike rider traveling at normal speed was directly hit by a speeding tractor due to which he fell on the spot.
The passers-by immediately called emergency service 108 and police 112 for help, but the local people allege that no help was received for half an hour due to which the injured person died in agony. By the time the police reached the spot about 45 minutes after the accident, the injured had died.
People have expressed anger over the fact that the emergency services created for convenience have now become a mess.
When help is needed, they do not answer the phone and even if the phone is answered, so much formality is asked that 10 to 12 minutes of time is wasted.
By then the condition of the injured worsens. Due to administrative lapse, an innocent person died in death.
