Vehicle of Indian pilgrims returning from Muktinath darshan meets with accident in Nepal, 6 injured
Kathmandu. Six passengers have been injured after a vehicle carrying Indian pilgrims returning from Nepal’s famous Muktinath Dham met with an accident. Six Indian pilgrims were injured in a microbus accident near Jaleshwar in Beni municipality of Myagdi district of Nepal on Friday morning.
According to District Police Office Myagdi, the EV microbus number 8436 carrying Indian pilgrims returning from Muktinath Darshan in Mustang met with an accident at Jaleshwar on Beni-Jomsom-Korla road section.
According to hospital information officer Jharna Shrestha, one injured person has been sent to Pokhara for further treatment, while five people are being treated at the state hospital, Beni.
26-year-old Dina Madi, 36-year-old Triveni Bharat, 50-year-old Pramod Shankar Yadav, 28-year-old Kailash Deyani, 70-year-old Niranjan Das Khanna and 22-year-old Santosh from Uttar Pradesh were injured in the accident.
At the same place in Jaleshwar on Wednesday afternoon, 15 Indian pilgrims returning from Muktinath were injured in a collision between a truck and a bus.
Beni Police Inspector Sagar Timilsina said that the vehicle carrying 15 passengers suddenly lost control while moving and collided with the roadside, due to which 15 Indian pilgrims were injured in the accident.
