Asha Bhosle’s last rites will be performed at Shivaji Park
Asha Bhosle: Asha Bhosle’s demise sent a wave of mourning in the film industry. Throughout the day, veteran stars like Shahrukh Khan, Aamir and Salman Khan have expressed grief over the demise of Asha ji. Last Saturday, he was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital due to chest infection and he died on Sunday, April 12. Now on Monday i.e. 13th April, the last journey of Asha Bhosle will be taken out after 2 pm. The time of last darshan has been kept from 10.30 am to 2 pm. The family has also appealed to the paparazzi for restrained coverage.

According to the information given by the hospital, Asha Tai was admitted to the hospital yesterday after complaining of cardiac arrest and chest infection. He was being treated on a ventilator in the ICU of the Medical Emergency Services Department, but he breathed his last this morning. He was already suffering from respiratory problems and died due to multi organ failure. His son Anand Bhosle told that tomorrow i.e. Monday at 11 am, the mortal remains will be kept for the last darshan at his residence ‘Casa Grand’ in Lower Parel, where people can pay tribute to him. After this, his last rites will be performed with state honors at Shivaji in Mumbai at 4 pm. Maharashtra Cultural Minister Ashish Shelar also reached the hospital and announced the funeral with state honors on behalf of the state government.

There was a wave of mourning across Bollywood on the death of Asha Tai. Shahrukh Khan has paid tribute to Asha Bhosle on his social media. Apart from this, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan have also expressed condolence on the demise of Asha Bhosle. Asha Bhosle has sung more than 12 thousand songs in her career and has composed music in more than 20 languages. In her 92 years of life, she has left behind a musical legacy.
