Ingredients for Chole Chaat:
Chickpeas two cups, red chili powder one teaspoon, coriander powder one teaspoon, turmeric powder half teaspoon, cumin powder one teaspoon, garam masala half teaspoon, black salt half teaspoon, chaat masala 1 teaspoon, water 3 tablespoons, oil 1 tablespoon, cumin half teaspoon, chopped ginger, salt as per taste, one chopped onion, two chopped green chillies, one tomato, 1 teaspoon tamarind juice, lemon juice 1 teaspoon, green coriander chopped
How to make Chole Chaat?
Step 1: To make Chole Chaat, first soak two cups of chickpeas for seven to eight hours.
Step 2: After the stipulated time, boil the chickpeas in the cooker. Keep in mind that chickpeas should only be cooked and should not melt. Cook till three-four whistles.
Step 3: Now add red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, garam masala and chaat masala in a small bowl and mix well.
Fourth Step: Now turn on the gas and place a pan on it. Just put one spoon of oil in the pan and then add prepared masala in it and when it gets slightly hot, add chickpeas in it. When the spices get mixed well in the chickpeas, then turn off the gas.
Fifth Step: Now add finely chopped onion, green chilli, tomato and salt to the chickpeas and mix well.
Sixth Step: Now finally add 1 teaspoon tamarind juice, 1 teaspoon lemon juice and finely chopped green coriander and mix. Your Chole Chaat is ready.
