Gujarat Titans beat Kolkata by 5 wickets
IPL: Kolkata Knight Riders and Gujarat Titans faced each other in the 25th match of IPL 2026. Batting first in this match played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Kolkata Knight Riders team got bundled out on the score of 180 runs in 20 overs. Cameron Green played the highest innings of 79 runs. For Gujarat, Kagiso Rabada took maximum 3 wickets. Mohammad Siraj and Ashok Sharma took 2-2 wickets.
In response to Kolkata’s score, Gujarat Titans performed brilliantly and achieved the target of 181 runs by losing 5 wickets in the last over. Captain Shubman Gill was the hero of Gujarat’s victory, who scored 86 runs in 50 balls with the help of 8 fours and 4 sixes. Jos Buttler contributed 25 runs. In this way, Gujarat made a huge jump in the points table by winning its third consecutive match.
This season has been very disappointing so far for Kolkata Knight Riders. The team has not yet achieved victory under the captaincy of Ajinkya Rahane.
