Loan proposals worth Rs 55 crore, approvals of more than five crore in PNB program

Haridwar . Punjab National Bank (PNB)’s mega retail outreach program received loan proposals worth approximately Rs 55 crore. Information about the bank’s customer-centric schemes was given during the programme.

Loan approval letters worth more than Rs 5 crore were distributed on the spot. Bank officials said that such events provide quick and simple banking services to the customers.

Divisional Office Haridwar organized ‘Mega Retail Outreach Program’ on Saturday at PNB House, BHEL Sector-4. The objective of the program was to take various loan schemes of the bank directly to the common people and to make banking services simple and transparent. The event saw participation from a large number of customers.

Deputy General Manager Awadhesh Kumar Jha was present as the chief guest in the program. Divisional Head Mr. Ranjan Prakash, Sub-Divisional Head Avinash Kumar and Lead District Manager Dinesh Kumar Gupta were present with him. After highlighting the bank’s customer-centric schemes, loan proposals worth about Rs 55 crore were received at the event, while loan sanction letters worth more than Rs 5 crore were distributed on the spot. Customers were benefited through various schemes including home, vehicle and education loans. Bank officials said that such events promote ‘doorstep banking’, which provides all banking services to customers at one place. It was said that such programs would be continued in future also.
