Electric Car: The demand for electric cars is gradually increasing in India. People are now interested in buying electric vehicles even in big vehicles. If you are also thinking of buying an electric car for the family, then 7 seater electric cars or MPVs of many leading brands are available in the market. In the segment with seating capacity of seven people, especially the vehicles of companies like Mahindra & Mahindra, Vinfast, BYD, Kia and MG are available in the market which you may like.
Kia Carens Clavis EV: This is currently the most affordable mass-market 7-seater electric vehicle in India, with prices starting at Rs 17.99 lakh. The vehicle is available with two battery pack options – 42kWh and 51.4kWh giving an ARAI-certified range of 404km and 490km respectively.
Mahindra Buyers can choose from three battery pack options – 59kWh, 70kWh and 79kWh which promise a range of 521km, 600km and 679km respectively.
BYD eMax 7: This car of BYD company is one of the most practical options in its segment. Its price ranges from Rs 26.90 lakh to Rs 29.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The BYD eMax 7 comes in two variants – Premium (with a 55.4kWh battery pack) and Superior (with a 71.8kWh battery pack), which offer a claimed range of 420km and 530km respectively.
Vinfast VF MPV 7: This car of Vietnamese car maker Vinfast has been launched recently. This car is available in only one variant, which is priced at Rs 24.49 lakh (ex-showroom). This 7-seater electric MPV has a 60.13kWh battery pack, and it gives a range of 517km on a single charge as claimed by ARAI.
