Nepal PM took written explanation from Home Minister regarding the discrepancy in property details.

Kathmandu. Nepal’s Prime Minister Balendra Shah has taken written clarification from his Home Minister Sudan Gurung regarding the questions raised in the media regarding irregularities in property details and suspicious business worth crores.

Questions were raised on Home Minister Gurung for hiding information about share purchase in the property details and his connection with businessman Deepak Bhatt, who is currently in police custody on money laundering charges. While giving clarification, Home Minister Gurung had said that he had bought the shares by taking loan.

Prime Minister Shah’s personal secretariat has said that PM Shah has taken the matter of Home Minister Gurung’s property details, his suspicious business and financial transactions with controversial businessman Deepak Bhatt, who is in police custody, in the media for the last few days seriously and has sought a written explanation from him.

Home Minister Gurung’s secretariat has also confirmed that a written explanation has been submitted to the Prime Minister in this matter. According to the Home Minister’s Secretariat, the Prime Minister had shown interest in this subject.

Home Minister Sudan Gurung has already given a public clarification. Due to questions raised regarding buying shares from the company of controversial businessman Deepak Bhatt, the Home Minister has given a written explanation to the Prime Minister.

Although Home Minister Sudan Gurung on Monday clarified the questions raised regarding the source of his stock investments, many questions still remain unanswered. In his explanation, Gurung has claimed to have ‘purchased shares by taking loan’.

To prove this, he has also given the names of two companies, which were not mentioned in his property details earlier. He confirmed these companies only after the news came in the media.
