Case registered against those who damaged government property in Kedarnath Dham

Dehradun. Taking strict action against the incident of vandalism in public toilets in Kedarnath, the police have registered a case against unknown persons in Ketwali Senprayag. The police is investigating the matter

Actually, a case of damage to public facilities has come to light in Kedarnath Dham area. On this, Sulabh International supervisor Mintu Pathak has filed a case in Kotwali Sonprayag police. According to the complaint, unknown persons have vandalized the public toilets established in Sector Kedarnath, Helipad and Ghodapadav.

Five doors have been damaged in the Haat Bazaar located at Kedarnath Dham, behind the PWD office, near Punjab Sindh Bhawan and in the Base Camp area. Apart from this, 12 taps and 60 cisterns have also been deliberately broken in different sectors of Kedarnath.

Kotwali Sonprayag Police has registered a case against unknown people under the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act.

Rudraprayag Police has warned that any culprit who harms the dignity and public facilities of Kedarnath Yatra will not be spared. The police administration appealed to everyone to cooperate with the police and administration in making necessary arrangements for the yatra.
