Pressure built after rise in early trade, Sensex and Nifty fell from upper level
New Delhi. During early trading today in the domestic stock market, pressure is being seen from the upper level. Today’s trading started on a strong note.
As soon as the market opened, the movement of both Sensex and Nifty indices increased further. However, as profit booking started after some time, their movements took a downward trend.
It is a matter of relief that despite the selling, both these indices continued to trade in the green. After the first hour of trading, Sensex was trading with a gain of 0.34 percent and Nifty with a gain of 0.41 percent.
After the first one hour of trading, among the big stocks of the stock market, shares of Inter Globe Aviation, Mahindra & Mahindra, Trent Limited, Bajaj Auto and Bajaj Finserv were trading with a strength of 3.17 percent to 1.48 percent.
On the other hand, shares of Larsen & Toubro, Hindustan Unilever, Titan Company, Power Grid Corporation and ONGC were seen trading with a fall of 3.34 per cent to 0.64 per cent.
In the current trading, there was active trading in 2,777 shares in the stock market. Of these, 1,940 shares were trading in the green after earning profits, while 837 shares were trading in the red after incurring losses.
Similarly, out of 30 shares included in Sensex, 23 shares remained in the green with the support of buying. On the other hand, seven shares were trading in the red due to selling pressure. Whereas out of 50 shares included in Nifty, 41 shares were seen trading in green mark and nine shares were seen trading in red mark.
BSE Sensex opened today at 77,424.36 points with a gain of 406.57 points. As soon as trading started, this index jumped to the level of 77,675.01 points with the support of buying.
After this, there was selling pressure in the market, due to which the movement of this index started declining. After the first hour of trading amid continuous buying and selling in the market, at 10:15 am the Sensex was trading at 77,279.55 points with a gain of 261.76 points.
Like Sensex, NSE’s Nifty jumped 138.20 points today and started trading at 24,171 points. As soon as the market opened, with the support of buying, this index jumped to the level of 24,250.85 points, after which there was selling pressure in order to book profits.
Due to continuous selling, the movement of Nifty also appeared to be in a downward trend. It is a matter of relief that despite the selling, this index continued to remain in the green mark.
After the first one hour of trading between continuous buying and selling in the market, at 10:15 am Nifty was trading at the level of 24,132.50 points with a gain of 99.70 points.
Before this, on the last trading day on Tuesday, the Sensex had closed at the level of 77,017.79 points with a weakness of 251.61 points or 0.33 percent. At the same time, Nifty ended Tuesday’s trading at the level of 24,032.80 points with a decline of 86.50 points or 0.36 percent.
