Narmadapuram: Municipality Chairman’s son attacked with a knife, got 15 stitches on his face
Itarsi. An incident of bloody conflict has come to light at a dhaba located on the four-lane highway in Itarsi in Narmadapuram district of Madhya Pradesh late on Friday night.
Due to a minor dispute over asking for a cigarette, 4-5 miscreants fatally attacked Akash Yadav, son of Municipality Chairman Meera Yadav, and Tulsi Ahirwar, an employee of a dhaba, with knives and sticks.
According to the information, this incident is said to have happened around 11:30 pm. Akash Yadav suffered serious injuries on his face from ear to mouth in the attack.
Dr. R is treating. According to Dayal, due to the deep wound on the face, about 12 to 15 stitches have been applied and the situation remains critical.
At the same time, employee Tulsi Ahirwar was stabbed with a knife on his thigh and hip, and also suffered internal injuries due to beating with sticks. Both of them are currently undergoing treatment in a private hospital.
Itarsi police station in-charge Gaurav Singh Bundela said that in the preliminary investigation, the attackers have been identified as Mintu and Shambhu along with their other associates. Mintu is a sanitation worker of the municipality.
A day earlier also there had been a dispute between Akash and these youth at the same dhaba. Police have registered the case and started raids in search of the absconding accused.
Victim Akash Yadav told that the miscreants started an argument over the demand for cigarettes and immediately attacked him with weapons. After this incident, there is huge anger among the people of the area.
The police is now also investigating the matter to find out what is the connection between the night time activities at these dhabas operating on the highway and the previous criminal records of the accused. However, the hospitalized victims have refused to give detailed statements at present.
