Mussoorie: Tourists’ out-of-control car landed in a ditch, stranded people rescued safely
Mussoorie. On Sunday, a Brezza car went out of control and fell off the road towards a ditch on Dehradun road near Kolukhet police post. Due to the promptness of the police and local people, all the tourists in the car were taken out safely.
According to the information, a white colored Brezza car with temporary registration number was coming from Dehradun towards Mussoorie. Then, about 100 meters before Kolukhet police post, the car went out of control and went down the left side of the road.
As soon as information about the incident was received, the police team immediately reached the spot and controlled the traffic system and stopped the movement of vehicles on the road. With the help of local people, the police safely rescued the four people trapped in the car.
The Karswar tourists were identified as Satish Kumar, Sanjeev, Sohan Lal and Prince, residents of Panchkula-Hisar, Haryana. It is fortunate that no one was injured in the accident.
Later, with the help of local people, the police pulled the vehicle out of the ditch and parked it safely on the roadside and smoothened the traffic.
