New Delhi. A big revelation has been made in the NEET paper leak case. Nashik connection of paper leak has come to light. The first copy of the leaked paper was made in Nashik. The paper was leaked even before it was printed in Nashik. The hand-written paper first came to Gurugram, Haryana. The leaked paper came to the doctor in Gurugram.
Know the travel route of paper leak
The travel route of NEET paper leak case has come to light. The paper was leaked even before it was printed in Nashik. The leaked paper from Nashik had come to Gurugram in Haryana. 10 sets of leaked papers were made in Haryana. After Haryana, the leaked paper reached Jaipur in Rajasthan. From Jaipur to Jamvaramgarh then reached Sikar. Jammu-Kashmir, Bihar, and the leaked paper reached Kerala. After Kerala, it reached Andhra Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Paper leaked from Pune, not Nashik – confession of the accused
At the same time, now new information has come to light during the interrogation. The guess paper has come out from Pune, not Nashik. The person detained in Nashik has confessed to this. He had received this paper from Pune. One person has also been detained from Pune.
A student arrested from Nashik
A 30-year-old student studying in the final year of BMS from Nashik has been detained. Nashik Crime Branch Unit 2 took action and arrested him. The suspect is said to be originally a resident of Nandgaon in Nashik district.
The person was roaming around in disguise
Nashik Police will hand over the accused to Rajasthan Police. With the help of technical analysis and photographs, Nashik Police arrested the accused in just an hour. The accused was roaming around in disguise and with his head shaved to hide his identity.
CBI investigation ordered
The entire matter is being investigated by Rajasthan Police and other investigating agencies. At the same time, the investigation of NEET paper leak has been handed over to CBI. CBI will soon register a regular case in this matter, do the paper work and form a team which will soon start investigating this matter.
The exam will be conducted again
As soon as CBI registers the regular case, it will take handover of the case file and documents from SOG and will also collect all the information and documents from the National Testing Agency and include them in the investigation. National Testing Agency (NTA) has taken a big decision regarding NEET UG 2026 exam. The agency has announced the cancellation and re-examination of the NEET UG exam held on May 3, 2026. This decision has been taken after the approval of the Central Government. Information about new exam dates and release of admit cards will be given soon through official channels.
Decision taken in the interests of students
Regarding this matter, the Central Government has handed over the case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for a comprehensive investigation. NTA has said that it will provide full cooperation to the investigating agencies and will provide all necessary documents and records. The agency acknowledged that re-conducting the examination would cause inconvenience to students and their families, but this decision was necessary in the interest of students and to maintain confidence in the national examination system.
Students will not have to do new registration
NTA has also clarified that the registration done for the May 2026 session, the data of the candidates and the examination centers chosen will remain valid in the re-examination. Students will not have to do fresh registration and no additional examination fee will be charged. The examination fees already deposited will be refunded. Also, candidates and parents have been appealed to trust only the information released on the official channels of NTA and avoid unconfirmed news circulating on social media.
