Kathmandu. There has been huge damage due to floods and landslides in Panchthar district of Nepal. Roads, bridges, agricultural land and houses have been damaged due to the flood that occurred on Saturday morning.

The central hill highway has been completely blocked. A landslide has occurred near Oyam market. According to local people, fields have been washed away at various places in Falaicha and Chyangthapu. Information about damage to two houses in Chyangthapu has also been received.

The Indravati river bridge on the route from Panchthar to Taplejung has been damaged. Similarly, the under construction Limbuni bridge of Tamor corridor has also been damaged.

Local people have also reported damage due to floods and landslides in Sidingba area of ​​neighboring Taplejung district. The Kaveli and Tamor rivers are flooded.

Panchthar Police Chief DSP Anish Karna informed that there have been reports of damage to roads, bridges and crops due to floods and landslides and the work of collecting details of the damage is going on.
