Shilpa Shetty: Actress Shilpa Shetty will be seen playing the role of host in the show ‘Maa Hai Na’. The trailer of the show was released on Tuesday. The show’s producers have described it as a non-fiction original comedy cooking show in which six millennials team up with their mothers in an unpredictable and high-energy showdown in the kitchen. With Shilpa Shetty Kundra as the host, expect comedy, chaos, emotional memories and plenty of pressure as the contestants step out of their comfort zones.

On being a part of the show, Shilpa said in a press release, ‘As soon as I saw the trailer of ‘Maa Hai Na’, I was immediately reminded of how emotional and chaotic the kitchen of every Indian family can be. ‘Maa Hai Na’ is not just about cooking; It is about those small moments between mother and child which we often ignore. The show has laughter, pressure, nostalgia and true emotions that surprised me, and I love how beautifully it captures the madness and magic of that relationship.’ He further added, ‘A complete show full of energy, entertainment and emotions. What I didn’t expect at all was that amidst all the humor, we found emotions that were heart-touching and just like we believe in every Indian household, ‘Maa hai na… toh sab mumkin hai.’The show will premiere on ZEE5 from June 12.
