Car overturned in a fierce collision between high speed cars, major accident averted due to opening of airbags

Indore. Late Friday night, two speeding cars collided head-on at the Rasoma intersection of BRTS in Indore city of Madhya Pradesh. The collision was so severe that a car went out of control and overturned twice. A young man was seriously injured in the accident, while the lives of other passengers were saved when the airbags opened.

According to Vijay Nagar police station in-charge Chandrakant Patel, the incident occurred late on Friday night at around 3 o’clock. Police have started investigation in the case on the complaint of Abhishek’s son Lakhan Jaiswal.

According to eyewitnesses, one car was coming at high speed from Medanta Hospital, while the other car was moving towards Rasoma intersection from LIG area. There was a massive collision between the two vehicles at the intersection.

After the collision, a car overturned twice and fell on the road. The accident was so horrific that people living nearby and shopkeepers came out after hearing the loud noise. Local people told that both the vehicles were of Ujjain number.

Car rider Dev Chauhan was seriously injured in the accident. There is a possibility of fracture in his shoulder. The people present on the spot showed promptness and took him out of the vehicle and took him to the hospital for treatment.

Liquor bottles found in car, girls went missing from the spot
According to eyewitnesses, some girls were also traveling in a car. It has come to light that three bottles of liquor were found in the crashed vehicle. It is being told that the girls left the spot before the police arrived. However, he did not suffer serious injuries as the car’s airbag opened.

Police later contacted the concerned party and were told that they were going for darshan. After the incident, traffic was normalized by removing the damaged vehicles from the road. Police are scanning the footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby to find out the actual circumstances of the accident.
