Special arrangement of BRTS for IPL final at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Ahmedabad. The final match of IPL-2026 will be played between Gujarat Titans and Royal Challengers Bangalore on Sunday (May 31, 2026) at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. To facilitate the cricket fans coming to watch this high-voltage match, Ahmedabad Janmarg Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, which operates BRTS (Bus Rapid Transit System) named ‘Janmarg’ in the city, has announced special transport arrangements.
The match will start at 7:30 pm. In view of the possibility of a large number of spectators reaching the stadium, BRTS service will be extended from normal time till 1 am. For this, apart from the regular 36 buses, 16 additional buses will also be run. Thus a total of 52 buses will provide service to the passengers.
According to the BRTS administration, from 3:30 pm till the end of the match, 11 regular buses will be diverted and operated directly to Vista Junction (Narendra Modi Stadium), so that the spectators do not face any problem in reaching and returning to the stadium.
Additional buses will be available on various routes under special bus services. These include 4 buses from ISKCON to Vista Junction, 3 buses from Airport to Vista Junction, 2 buses from Vista to Narol (via Kalupur and Geeta Mandir route) and L.D. 2 buses will be run from Engineering College/Nehrunagar to Vista Junction. Apart from this, 5 special buses will be operated from Vista Junction after 10:30 pm.
Motera Cross Road and Sabarmati Police Station BRTS stations will be the nearest stations for passengers reaching the stadium.
Additional deployment of field officers, security officers, vigilance team and ticketing staff will be done to maintain smooth traffic system during the match. At the same time, the command and control center of Jan Marg will continuously keep an eye on the entire system, so that passengers and cricket lovers do not face any kind of inconvenience.
