Main accused of Surya Chauhan murder case killed in encounter, accomplice absconding from the spot

Uttar Pradesh: Asad, the main accused in the famous Surya Chauhan murder case in Khoda police station area of ​​Ghaziabad, has been killed by the police in an encounter. According to the police, a reward of Rs 50 thousand was declared on the accused and he was continuously absconding since the incident.

A policeman was also injured during the encounter, while an associate of the accused managed to escape from the spot. The accused was trying to run away after taking some money from a friend. Police officials said that on May 28, a youth named Surya Chauhan was attacked with a knife in Khoda police station area.

Surya, who was seriously injured in this attack, died during treatment. A case of murder was registered in the case on the complaint of the family members of the deceased. During the investigation, five people were made accused, three of whom had already been arrested by the police.

The main accused Asad was absconding and the police were continuously raiding for his arrest. Police received information on Monday that Asad was going to come to Khoda area to meet one of his associates. It was told that he was planning to take some money and run away from the area.

Based on the information, the police launched a massive combing operation in the area and started checking by installing barriers at many places. Meanwhile, the police team saw two suspicious youths coming on a bike in Vasundhara area. The police signaled them to stop, but it is alleged that Asad started firing on the police team.

After this the police retaliated in self-defense. Asad was seriously injured by a bullet during the encounter. When he died in the hospital, the police immediately took him to the nearest hospital, where the doctors declared him dead.

In this firing, a constable posted in Khoda police station area has also been injured, who is undergoing treatment in the hospital. During the encounter, one of Asad’s associates fled from the spot. Police are conducting raids in search of him.

A pistol and bike have been recovered from the possession of the accused from the spot. Police officials say that Asad’s criminal history is also being investigated. Forensic examination of the recovered weapon will be conducted and the entire incident is being investigated as per rules.

After the killing of the main accused in the Surya Chauhan murder case, a new twist has come in the case and the police is intensifying efforts to arrest the absconding accused.

Surya was murdered on 28th May. On 28th May i.e. on the day of Bakrid, Surya was called by the accused Asad. As soon as Surya reached the street, 5-6 boys including Ashad surrounded him and started stabbing him openly.

The accused stabbed Surya with knives until he died. The accused were absconding after committing the murder. After which Surya’s family lodged an FIR. Family members allege that a few days ago, Surya had an argument with Asad over some issue. Due to which he was murdered.
