Slight rise in Sensex and Nifty amid fluctuations in domestic stock market
New Delhi. The domestic stock market seems to be trading strongly amid fluctuations during early trading today. Today’s trading also started with gains.
As soon as the market opened, buyers and sellers started trying to dominate each other, due to which the movements of both Sensex and Nifty indices started fluctuating.
It is a matter of relief that despite the selling pressure, both these indices continued to remain in the green. After trading till 10 am, Sensex was trading with a gain of 0.20 percent and Nifty with a gain of 0.14 percent.
After the trading till 10 am, among the big stocks of the stock market, shares of HDFC Life, Adani Enterprises, Bajaj Finance, SBI Life Insurance and Tech Mahindra were trading with a strength of 2.54 percent to 1.18 percent.
On the other hand, shares of Wipro, Trent Limited, Tata Steel, Hindalco Industries and Coal India were seen trading with a fall of 3.97 per cent to 0.56 per cent.
In the current trading, there was active trading in 2,711 shares in the stock market. Of these, 1,856 shares were trading in the green after earning profits, while 855 shares were trading in the red after incurring losses.
Similarly, out of 30 shares included in Sensex, 20 shares remained in the green with the support of buying. On the other hand, 10 shares were trading in the red due to selling pressure. Whereas out of 50 shares included in Nifty, 29 shares were seen trading in green mark and 21 shares were seen trading in red mark.
BSE Sensex opened today with a gain of 269.93 points at the level of 74,629.94 points. As soon as the trading started, tension started in the market, due to which the movement of this index started fluctuating.
Sensex jumped to 74,717.57 points with the support of buying. At the same time, due to selling pressure, it dived to the level of 74,479.87 points. After trading till 10 am amid continuous buying and selling in the market, the Sensex was trading at the level of 74,510.54 points with a gain of 150.53 points.
Like Sensex, NSE’s Nifty jumped 62.40 points today and started trading at 23,478.95 points. As soon as the market opened, buyers and sellers started trying to dominate each other, due to which the index started moving up and down.
With the support of buying, Nifty was successful in reaching 23,516.35 points. Due to selling pressure, this index also fell to the level of 23,439.15 points. It is a matter of relief that despite the selling pressure, this index continued to trade in the green.
After continuous buying and selling in the market till 10 am, Nifty was trading at the level of 23,449.10 points with a gain of 32.55 points.
Before this, on the last trading day on Thursday, the Sensex had closed at the level of 74,360.01 points with an indicative strength of 13.84 points or 0.02 percent. At the same time, Nifty ended Thursday’s trading at the level of 23,416.55 points with a slight rise of 10.95 points or 0.05 percent.
