ADM sir turned out to be fake, cheated of Rs 60 lakhs by selling dreams of job and plot

New Delhi. One such “ADM Saheb”, who cheated people with the dream of getting a government job and a plot in Noida, has been caught by Delhi Police, who in reality turned out to be not an administrative officer but an experienced student of the university of fraud. This person, who for years claimed to be the Additional District Magistrate of Uttar Pradesh, wove such a web of power, influence and government identity that many people fell into his trap and lost about Rs 60 lakh.

Delhi Police investigation revealed that accused Pawan Kumar Pandey alias Varun Kumar Pandey played the role of a bureaucrat in such a way that even real officers might feel shy. Everything from visiting card to identity card was ready. There was just one thing – a government job.

According to the police, the accused used to assure people that he had direct connections with big officials. Need a job? It will be done. Want a plot in Noida? That too will be available. Just first deposit the amount in the name of “Process”. People also opened their pockets in the greed to avoid long queues in government offices and kept taking the “service” of Saheb.

Investigation revealed that the accused used the identity and photographs of a genuine PCS officer to prove himself as ADM. That is, he did not get the government chair, but the entire business was built on his identity. Looking at the mobile phones, WhatsApp chats, fake ID cards and visiting cards, it seemed as if there was no official standing in front, but a mobile secretariat.

When Delhi Police opened the layers of bank accounts and UPI transactions, the full details of the fraud amount came to light. Not only this, a Swift car and a scooter purchased with this earning were also detected. That is, no one got a government job, but the fraudulent job definitely gave a good salary to the accused.

Interestingly, a case of impersonation has already been registered against the accused. Despite this he could not give up his dream of becoming an officer. The only difference was that this time he was directly transferred to police custody. Now the police are searching for his other associates and possible victims. At the same time, this case once again reminds us that it is better to be cautious of “miracle officers” who claim to provide government jobs and plots, because sometimes the chair is not real, only the power is real.
