SIT gets big success in the case of hundreds of mobile phones missing from the container
Araria. Araria District Police has unearthed the case of hundreds of mobile phones stolen from a container truck going from Noida to Assam. The SIT constituted by SP Jitendra Kumar has arrested four members of the inter-state gang.
Among the arrested members, two are from Mathura in Uttar Pradesh, one from New Delhi Sahadra and one from Sadar Nuh in Haryana. Police have recovered Realme 489, Oppo 317, Thar vehicle number HR26GF/4822 used in mobile theft, Ciaz vehicle number UP85 AX 9819, a laptop and CP Plus DVR from them. SP Jitendra Kumar gave the information on Saturday evening.
SP told in the press conference held in his office room that an SIT was constituted by him in Araria case number 314/26 dated 09 June 2026 section 316(2),316(5),318(4),3(5) BNS.
SIT was continuously engaged in investigating this case. In this sequence, two special teams had also gone to Palwal. They told that an organized gang works in Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, which has been carrying out the incidents of theft of mobiles and accessories from the vehicles going in containers. In this sequence, on the night of 7th June, the driver and the helper went missing after parking the container number KA 02 AJ 1157 in Araria Zero Mile.
The SIT constituted in the case arrested Anwar alias Anwarul father Ali Mohammad of Sudaka in Nuh Sadar police station area of Haryana, Deepak Gupta father Umesh Gupta of Laxminagar Kishankunj House No. 70 third floor of Shahdara, New Delhi, Shahil father Shakeel and Koshikala Gyashganj resident Kamil alias Kimmi father Nasir of Mathura Fish Market Bharatpur Gate in Uttar Pradesh. SP said that in the gang There is an organized gang of members from Uttar Pradesh, New Delhi and Haryana, whose name has been found in the investigation. The arrest of all will be ensured.
