On the second day today, as part of the two-day seminar/conference of BRICS countries that started in Agra from Friday, the delegation of BRICS member countries visited the Taj Mahal on Saturday morning. On Saturday, the second day of the BRICS countries conference going on in Agra from Friday, the delegation of the member countries visited the Taj Mahal in the morning and admired its beauty to their heart’s content. After capturing their memorable moments with the Taj Mahal on camera, at around 1:00 pm, under the supervision of the delegation, Puran Dabur Chairman Leather Industry Development Council, India, the facility visit (meeting) of BRICS Member and BRICS Partner Countries Representatives of Industrial Association was held at Dabur Footwear Manufacturing Company near Bapu Ashram located on Mathura Bypass Road under Sikandra police station area.
About 40 representatives of BRICS countries reached the shoe company of Agra’s famous shoe industrialist Puran Dabur in Sikandra at around 1 pm in a private tourist bus. Through this delegation, an attempt was made to know the intricacies of the leather industry in Agra by visiting the company. Discussion with Puran Dabur about the key points of the shoe industry related to the shoes being exported from Agra globally such as availability of workers in Agra, import of raw materials, machinery, obstacles in export, professional workers (skilled and non-skilled), reduction in orders from outside countries after the recent West Asia crisis and preparations to deal with it. Of. The members also noted the important points received in their personal diaries. After taking the information, lunch was had in the company premises itself. After staying in the company of Dabur for about 3 hours, the above delegation left for Hotel Taj Convention.
In the same sequence, after a short rest by the delegation at Hotel Taj Convention, the Taj Mahal and Red Fort were visited in the evening. Most of the members of the delegation are staying in the hotel, after night rest they will leave for Delhi tomorrow i.e. Sunday morning.
Puran Dabur, Chairman Leather Industry Development Council told in the conversation that in this delegation from BRICS countries, the guests showed interest in the shoe industry running in Agra, which has gained international recognition in the field of shoe business. The members discussed the problems, challenges and future plans being faced by the Agra shoe industry, today’s submission was very successful and fruitful.
